Register for The Scholarships

Rs 500/-   for Scholarships (includes both Ivy League & Statue of Liberty Scholarships) Registration

Registration Deadline – 2nd June, 2017

Online Payment Mode (Both Registration & Payment is Online):

Visit our Online Registration Portal http://reg.usaunivquest.com and create an account for yourself using an e-mail ID as your user name. After completing your online application, pay the prescribed fee online through your Master / Visa (Credit / Debit) card.

Offline Payment Mode

e-Application (Registration is Online but Payment is Offline) :

Visit our Online Registration Portal http://reg.usaunivquest.com and create an account for yourself using an e-mail ID as your user name. Take a print of your Online Application (e-Application) and submit it in person at your nearest USA UnivQuest* / Associate# Center along with 2 passport size photographs and the Registration Fee in Cash or DD.

You can also post / courier printout of your e-Application Form along with 2 passport size photographs and the Registration Fee in DD to the nearest USA UnivQuest* / Associate# Center.

Paper-Application (Both Registration & Payment is Offline):

Fill in your complete details in the Paper Application Form and submit it at the nearest USA UnivQuest* / Associate# Center. The Application Form should be submitted in person alongwith 2 passport size photographs and the Registration Fee in Cash or DD. You can also post / courier your Paper Application Form along with 2 passport size photographs and the Registration Fee in DD to the nearest USA UnivQuest* / Associate# Center.

STEP 2

Complete Online Profile i.e. Universal Student Application Preferred

Deadline – 4th June, 2017

Students applying for the Scholarships will have to complete all relevant sections of the Universal Student Application which will be available from 11:00 am of 15th May, 2017.

Additionally, students are also required to complete their Aptitude Profiling Test. This test will be available online from 11:00 am of 1st May, 2017. Results of this test will be updated in the Universal Student Application portal.

Both Universal Student Application & Aptitude Profiling Test will be available from the designated dates at http://masterstroke.usaunivquest.com

THINGS TO DO BEFORE FILLING THE ONLINE PROFILE

To upload your profile smoothly and efficiently, you are suggested to keep ready all your documents related to your profile. Please keep your school report card handy, create your CV, and arrange evidence of all the awards and recognitions received by you.

All documents from class VIII onwards can be used as part of your application. While completing your application, you would be asked for:

  • Your biographical details.
  • Your scholastic achievements, including scores and/or ranks in individual subjects taught at school from class VIII onwards. These may be Regional Exams like JSTSE or National Exams like NTSE or exams for admission in the US universities like PSAT, SAT, SAT Subjects, SSAT & Advanced Placements.
  • Your extra-curricular and co-curricular activities & achievements. If you have the Certificates against your participation and/or achievements, please obtain a scanned copy of it for uploading on the Application Portal.
  • Letters of Recommendation from your School teachers (minimum 2).
  • You will also have to answer a few long and short essay questions that would provide us with an insight on what motivates you for success. The topics for the essays shall be available online on 1st May, 2017.

 

STEP 3

Evaluation of Academic Merit

Potential Discovery Test – 4th June, 2017

For evaluation of academic merit students can appear in the Potential Discovery Test or submit official SAT and / or SAT Subject scores. Please see the table given below to check if you are eligible for exemption from appearing in Potential Discovery Test.

* For students in class VIII, IX & X official PSAT or SSAT scores can be used instead of SAT scores.

# Acceptable SAT Subject scores for exemption from Paper-2.

  1. For engineering aspirants, students need to submit official SAT Subject scores of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics-II.
  2. For Pure-Science aspirants, students need to submit official SAT Subject scores of Physics & Chemistry. Also they need to submit SAT Subject scores of either Mathematics-II or Biology.
  3. For Humanities and Business/Commerce aspirants, students need to submit official SAT Subject scores of any three of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics-I or II, English Literature, U.S. History & World History.

 

STEP 4

PERSONAL INTERVIEW & COLLEGE CURRICULUM ASSESSMENT TEST

Shortlisted students will be called for a personal interview. Students will be interviewed to assess their suitability for the Scholarships. Each student will be interviewed by the evaluation board to assess if they meet the criteria to receive the Scholarship. Those students who remain absent for the interview will be disqualified. However, he/she can still print the Certificate of Honour.

Further details of the Interview Process is available on http://masterstroke.usaunivquest.com Students must also write a College Curriculum Assessment Test or submit Official Advanced Placement (AP) Test scores in lieu of the test. This College Curriculum Assessment Test will consist of two subjects.

A complete list of AP Test Scores that can be submitted in lieu of the College Curriculum Assessment Test is given below:

Calculus AB/BC, Biology, Physics E&M/B2, Physics Mech/B1, Macro/Micro Economics, Chemistry, Statistics, Environmental Science, Computer Science A, English Literature & Composition, English Language and Composition, US History, World History, European History & Psychology.
