Evaluation of Academic Merit

Potential Discovery Test – 4th June, 2017

For evaluation of academic merit students can appear in the Potential Discovery Test or submit official SAT and / or SAT Subject scores. Please see the table given below to check if you are eligible for exemption from appearing in Potential Discovery Test.

* For students in class VIII, IX & X official PSAT or SSAT scores can be used instead of SAT scores.

With Official SAT Scores# in 3 SAT Subjects

Test NOT Exempted – Please appear for Test.

* Acceptable SAT Subject scores for exemption from Paper-2.

  1. For engineering aspirants, students need to submit official SAT Subject scores of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics-II.
  2. For Pure-Science aspirants, students need to submit official SAT Subject scores of Physics & Chemistry. Also they need to submit SAT Subject scores of either Mathematics-II or Biology.
  3. For Humanities and Business/Commerce aspirants, students need to submit official SAT Subject scores of any three of the following subjects:
    1. Physics
    2. Chemistry
    3. Biology
    4. Mathematics-I
    5. Mathematics-II
    6. English Literature
    7. U.S. History
    8. World History
